BASESHOE GLASS RAILINGS

Baseshoe Glass Railing

Base shoe glass railings are a sleek, modern railing system in which the glass panels are secured at the bottom by a metal channel—called a base shoe—rather than by posts or balusters.

Instead of interrupting your view with vertical posts every few feet, the glass sits in a continuous track at the floor, giving you that clean, “nothing’s there but glass” look.

Base shoe systems are the “luxury sedan” of glass railings—clean, quiet, and impressive—but they demand proper planning, engineering, and installation to do them justice.

Where it’s used
